Eternal Security Troublesome Passages

This section discusses those passages that in an isolated sense could possible leave people with the impression that an individual could lose salvation.  Many of these so called passages actually teach the exact opposite.

It has been a long standing disagreement among Christians as to whether an individual who has come to know Yeshua in a personal way can fall away and be eternally lost.  When one looks at it through the human vantage point, one might say why not?  People make commitments many do not keep them.  Sounds good, but these are humans.  God tells us in Psalm 89:34:

34My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

Always remember, God is not a man that He should lie nor is God a covenant breaker.
