Seek My Face

To have a real hedge, a solid one, there are two things that will help this.  First, Psalm 27:8.

8When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Yehovah, will I seek.

One has got to quit seeking God’s hand-out and start seeking God’s face.  Too many only seek God when they need God’s help.  For many, God sits on the back burner.

Do not deceive yourself into believing that if one is at church all the time they are seeking God’s face.  Seeking God’s face is a lot more than just going to some church or serving the needs of the church.

It is seeking God’s desires and fulfilling those desires.  It is walking in His will.  It is walking in His Torah so that God’s will would come to pass on earth as it is in heaven.

The starting point is Matthew 6:33

33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

It is then fulfilling Romans 12:1-2.

1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

One must be acceptable to Him.  Yeshua set the standard.  All we have to do is walk in Yeshua’s footsteps.

Too many seek the approval of others.  They try to impress the church leadership rather than seeking God’s face.  That is, until they are in trouble, then it is time to rotate the pots and put God on the front burner

Remember Matthew 6:33.

33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

We are to first seek the kingdom of God and continue to seek the kingdom.  When one consistently does that, life’s little problems fade away.  We need to have a little faith and we need to do the work of the kingdom.  We need to fulfill the covenant of obedience.  This is what will bring contentment in all facets of life.

When one consistently seeks the kingdom of God, they are seeking His face.

Secondly is Revelation 18:4.

4And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

This is where most people are leaving themselves exposed.  One may not be going to a Harlot church or a baby harlot church, but they continue to practice the traditions of the  Harlot system.

One must sanctify their life as God prescribes.  As outlined in the Bible, all 66 books.  If not one will be plagued and they will be unable to build a solid hedge in life.
