God’s Options

Something for us to consider, what could have been done to correct this situation?  God has created this couple and put them in a beautiful place.  He has given them all theses wonderful things and yet they disobeyed.  What could have God done?  Here are some of the possible answers that people have proposed.

“God should of gotten rid of that problem tree.  Then everything would have been nice.  If there was not that one tree, we could have lived perfectly.”  Except, we would have been robots.  No testing, absolute robots with no allegiance.  We would have been drones, Romans 7:7.

7What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

Sooner or later we must all choose, God or Satan.  Love is a choice.

For the people who have lots of love, but not much justice, they say, “forgive and forget.  What is the big deal?  They ate a piece of fruit.  Our kids do it all the time, forget about it.  Sweep it under the rug.”  Then the rug becomes a mountain and you cannot walk in that place anymore, Proverbs 19:18.

18Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying.

We should all know by now if we do not properly discipline our children, we will end up with a mess later.  We are God’s children.

How about this one?  “Just kill them, make a new couple.  You are God, you can do that.”  Stop and think about this.  If God had killed them and made a new couple, God would have to admit that they were not good.  God said in Genesis 1:31A.

31AAnd God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.

How does one improve on very good?  What makes us think that the next couple would be any better?

For those that have a superficial understanding of the cross, “God should of set up the cross in the Garden.  Let Jesus die for them right then and there.  Then everything would have been fine.”  Except God said in Galatians 4:4

4But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

God has a set timing and reason.  It is the fulness of time.

None of these are good answers.  God had His reasons and we will see that God’s ways are best.
