Clear Verses are used to Interpret Unclear Verses

When interpreting the Bible, a clear verse is used to interpret an unclear verse.  Too often people will use a verse where meaning is unclear to interpret a perfectly clear verse.  When that is done, meaning is lost and it results in further misunderstandings.  This has led to many conflicts in doctrine among believers.
