What to do with Grace

Now you have been to the throne room, what should you do with the charis?  To begin with Hebrews 12:28:

28Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

First and foremost, grace, charis is to be used to serve the perfect will of God.  And just as it serves the will of God, it has a benefit for the individual, Hebrews 13:9.

9Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

Charis will help the individual be establish on a solid foundation, so that they will not be blown around by every wind of doctrine.

Colossians 3:16

16Let the word of Messiah dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

When one has charis, they are to sing to the Lord.  Not just when one feels good, all the time.  Charis will help one praise Him in the spirit all the time.  And that will enable one to joyfully praise Him.

Colossians 4:6

6Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

When we have charis, we declare God’s words with authority, as in 1 Peter 4:11.

11If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Yeshua Messiah, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Our words are to be God’s words.  God grants us the words through charis, if we let Him, Matthew 10:19-20.

19But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. 20For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

Further Ephesians 4:29

29Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

With charis, one can minister to others in love with authority and power.  Then through charis, people’s hearts are affected for God.  That is why Paul tell us in Philippians 1:7:

7Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.

The charis, grace that one receives is to be spread out to others.  This is so that they too can know of God’s love, grace and plan for all mankind.

Romans 12:6

6Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

Charis is to be used to bring forth the spiritual manifestations of God.

1 Peter 4:10

10As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

So why would one want charis?  First and foremost, it helps one know and serve the will of God.  It establishes one on a solid foundation.  Charis seasons our words with salt.  It enables one to be a witness with power.  It can be spread to others and we too like Paul will be able to declare 1 Corinthians 2:4-5

4And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:  5That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Charis, Grace is what enable us to minister as God would have us.
