Personal Relationship

Matthew 25:6

6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

This is the shofar call of the future when Yeshua returns, Matthew 25:7.

7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

First, they trimmed their lights.  This is so they could see more clearly.  This is during a very dark time, Matthew 25:8-9.

8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.  9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

One may think that the wise were uncaring; however, one cannot give oil to another person on a permanent basis.  The oil speaks of the personal relationship that the believer has with God.  A believer has to get their own oil.  It comes directly from God.  There are no intermediaries in Christianity, Matthew 25:10.

10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

The foolish went out to buy oil, but it was too late.  This is the time we are entering into.  It has been 6000 years since Adam, 2 Peter 3:8.

8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

6000 years is as 6 days.  We are in the day before the seventh day.  It is twilight, we are entering into the Sabbath.  Well the foolish were foolish.  One cannot buy oil on the twilight going into the Sabbath.  The shop owners have closed their stores.  We must be storing up oil all the time.

We are in a dark spiritual time do not wait until the last minute.  There will not be oil available.
