There is one more thing Shemini Atsereth represents.  The seventh day of Sukkoth represents the millennium.  It is not until the end of the millennium, when the carnal nature of mankind, sin and the devil will come to an end.

Revelation 20:7

⁷And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

Satan would be let loosed for a season.  Regardless of all that God will do during the millennium, there will still be those who will follow Satan in the end, Revelation 20:8-9.

⁸And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. ⁹And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

These will be those that will refuse to bow their knee and give homage to the Messiah.  But at the end of the Millennium, Revelation 20:10:

¹⁰And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

The devil is cast into the Lake of Fire and he will be no more.  Those who did not bow the knee will not become a fulfilled Israelite.  These followed Satan as such Revelation 20:15 will be true for them.

¹⁵And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

At the end of the Millennium, carnality is put away forever.  Those who are left will enter into the great Sabbath of Shemini Atsereth.  This will fulfill the final Holy Convocation, Sabbath will be fulfilled.  We will have eternity to enjoy the rest of God.  It is the rest that has been available, since the foundation of the world.  However, today our carnality seems to get in the way, Psalm 115:15-16.

¹⁵Ye are blessed of Yehovah which made heaven and earth. ¹⁶The heaven, even the heavens, are Yehovah’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

And it will be true as stated in Isaiah 45:18-19:

¹⁸For thus saith Yehovah that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am Yehovah; and there is none else. ¹⁹I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I Yehovah speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

As in the Jubilee, we will return to our possession Earth.  It will be as God had intended from the beginning of time.  It will be the final jubilee for all eternity, Revelation 21:1-7.

¹And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. ²And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. ³And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. ⁴And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. ⁵And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. ⁶And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. ⁷He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

When Satan is put away, then the earth will be at rest.  It will be when the redemption of the possession will have fully occurred.  We will no longer be strangers in the land of promise.  We will have the full inheritance.
