Yeshua Started His Ministry

The beginning of Yeshua’s ministry is recorded in Luke 3:21-23

21Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Yeshua also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, 22And the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. 23And Yeshua himself began to be about thirty years of age,

Like all priests, Yeshua started his ministry at the age of 30.  This was a fulfillment of Number 4:3.

3From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.

It makes sense that Yeshua would start His ministry the day He turned 30.  Yeshua would not start early, that would be sin.  To start late would contradict why Yeshua even existed.  Yeshua started His ministry the day He turned 30, which was a Sabbath Day.  It was the 1st day of Sukkoth.  This was planned from the beginning, Galatians 4:1-2.

1Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; 2But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

Time appointed comes from the Greek word prothesmios {proth-es’-mee-os}(G4287).  It means set beforehand, appointed; or determined beforehand, prearranged.  God has a set time for things to happen.  It is prearranged to happen at a prescribed time.

Galatians 4:3-5

3Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:  4But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

When the fullness of time came, when things were in accordance with the prearrangement, God sent His Son.  Not just any day, Yeshua came on a Sabbath Day, and began His ministry on a Sabbath Day.
