Restitution of All Things (EJ)

It has been said by many a Christians, if a person had been in the right place, at the right time, they would have heard of the message salvation and that was their opportunity to be saved.  If one was not in the right place, at the right time, then they probably would not have accepted it anyways.  Others believe that if an individual is a good person God cannot throw them in hell.  However, there is not one verse in the Bible that supports such statements.  Yet, the Bible does declare that one must hear the voice of the Son of God to be saved.

The reason why so many believe unbiblical things associated with salvation is because people do not know about the Times of Restitution.  It is God’s plan for mankind that takes into account these things and many other issues associated with salvation.  Not only is it described in the Bible, it has been declared by every prophet of the Bible.

In today’s Christianity, many declare that when Yeshua returns, He will judge all the nonbelievers.  However, as stated earlier, their understanding of judgment is based on man definition and not God’s.  (Refer to Judges in the Millennium and Those Deceived.)  The judgment that is to occur for nonbelievers is part of the 1000 Year Day of Judgment.  God spoke of this day through all the prophets of the Bible.  Specifically through Moses, God declared in Deuteronomy 18:15-19:

15Yehovah thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; 16According to all that thou desiredst of Yehovah thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of Yehovah my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. 17And Yehovah said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. 18I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. 19And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

The New Testament tells the reader that Yeshua is that prophet like Moses, Acts 7:37.

37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

For the Children of Israel in Deuteronomy 18, this presents a problem.  When Moses spoke to the them, it was 1500 years prior to the first coming of Yeshua.  Moses told them that they must listen to every word of the prophet, unfortunately they were dead.  As such, they could hear the prophet like Moses.  They all died and went to Sheol.

The answer for these people and many other is in the New Testament, Acts 3:20-21.

20And he shall send Yeshua Messiah, which before was preached unto you: 21Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Yeshua is in heaven until He comes with His people to usher in the Times of Restitution of All Things.  All the prophets spoke about it and note what Peter then states in Acts 3:22-23.

22For Moses truly said unto the fathers,  A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. 23And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Note that the wording is very specific, it states will not.  It does not state that one does not or cannot, but will not.  These are the ones that will be destroyed from among the people.

Acts 3:24

24Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

These days follow the 2nd Coming.  It is after the 2nd Coming when Yeshua comes back that all who never heard the name of Yeshua will hear.  This is not a second chance.  For these people it will be their first real opportunity to hear the gospel message of salvation.

We ought not to think that just because someone was born at the right time in the right place gives them any more right to salvation than another.  The Restitution of All Things corrects this so that all individual are give one glorious opportunity for salvation.

In the New Testament, Eternal Judgment does not necessarily mean the length of time.

It means that it comes from God.  Now this is good for the Jews, but what about dead gentiles.
